The small, quiet village of Everleigh, consisting of two parts, East Everleigh and Lower Everleigh, is set on the North East edge of Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire.
Whilst not brimming over with local attractions, Everleigh boasts historical links to royalty and famous people of their day, archaeology and being the ‘playground’ for the Armed Forces both on Salisbury Plain and over it, with Everleigh being on the flightpath for a designated Drop Zone.
Everleigh is lucky to have a very active Parish Council, and in order to comply with new legislation and transparency, you can find all of the relevent meeting information, documents and statements on this website. Everleigh Parish Council meetings as well as other Everleigh and local events will be displayed in the calendar.
Everleigh falls under the Tidworth Area Board , which covers the following parishes of Chute, Chute Forest, Collingbourne Ducis, Collingbourne Kingston, Everleigh, Ludgershall, Tidworth.. The local area is covered by a community radio station, called Castledown Radio , based in Ludgershall and the local community magazine “The Courier”.
The aim of this website is to act as a resource for the village of Everleigh as well as to anyone who happens to stumble across it. Please check out the News Pages for the latest updates, Neighbourhood Bulletins from the local Police, the Everleigh Outlook for the archives of our local village newsletter, the online Photo Gallery as well as our local Business links.
